Ulipaa kwa utukufu, Ee Kristo Mungu wetu,
(You ascended in glory, O Christ our God,)

baada ya kuwajaza wanafunzi kwa furaha,
(after You filled the Disciples with joy,)

kwa kuahidi kuwatumia Roho Mtakatifu,
(by promising to send them the Holy Spirit,)

na ukawabariki na kuimarisha imani yao,
(and You blessed them and established their faith,)

kwamba Ndiwe Mwana wa Mungu,
